Lady Adventurer and I brought the Grandkids to Niagara Falls for a few days. We did a lot of the usual stuff, and guess what? It was fun!
This was in spite of the poor air quality due to Canadian wildfires far to the North and East.
To take it all in, we took Maid the Mist from the American Side, and it was just as we remembered it 49 years ago. Afterward, we hiked partway up the side of the American Falls. Once on the Canadian side, we did even more of the touristy stuff: Two rounds of miniature golf, lots of eating poor-quality food, and miles of walking. Even before coming home, we did a great but difficult hike at Niagara Glen, which is North of the Falls.
I'll go as far as to say that we all had a good time.
