Our Italy trip was canceled. We had booked it with Trafalgar for the end of September and were very much looking forward to it. All we can determine for the reason is that they didn't fill it up enough (Covid may have been the ultimate cause). We got our money (and time) back. Now, what to do with that money and the time we'd set aside? Well, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, of course. We think we're all set, but just keeping our fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong with THIS one!
Speaking of cancelations, I've already posted about how Alaska ain't gonna happen. We're having some trouble collecting everything we're owed from our travel insurance policy. I'll post separately about this sometime in the near future. But on another related note: we ARE going to see some more national parks; we've planned out a trip to Montana, Washington, and Oregon. And get this: it's in November.
And finally, to round out the year, we're also planning to go to Hawaii.
All this planning. It will be nice if some of these trips actually pan out. We'll see - stranger things have happened.
