In my previous post, The End of Travel? I lamented (read: I whined) about how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting our travel plans. The good (I'd go as far as to say, excellent) news is that we've now received virtually 100% of our money back (there were only some small booking fees that weren't returned) for that Norway trip. This is the one that we'd be on right now.
We have now also canceled our December 2020 Hawaii trip (FF Points have been returned), and (this killed Debbie) our April 2021 South Pacific cruise. We're still awaiting the return of that last deposit.
I am still not overly upset about these cancelations. Too bad Debbie isn't to sanguine.
I'm also gratified that the money is being refunded. I'll say it again: persistence pays.
